Shardha Nand, Fiji ke ek businessman aur politician rahaa.

Shardha Nand was a prominent businessman, politician (deputy leader of NFP, under Siddiq Koya's leadership) and Senator.

He is the father of high profile media and fashion personality, Sandhya Dusk Devi Nand.

Uu bahut din talak Government me kaam karis, khaas kar ke Cooporative Department me. Uske Fiji me flour mill suruu kare me khaas haanth rahaa.

Uu Kaiviti bhasa, aur Nadroga ke dialect me achchhaa se baat ka lewat rahaa. [1]

1982 se 1987 talak, Nand Fiji ke House of Representatives ke member rahaa, jahaan pe uu Nausori/Levuka Indian Communal Constituency ke reprsent karat rahaa.

1987 ke election me uu ek S. M. Koya ke support are waala splinter group suruu karis jon ki uu saal ke election me WUF ke saathe coalition form kar ke elction laris rahaa.

December 1994, prime-minister Rabuka raised afresh the possibility of a ‘common name’ for all citizens when he divulged his commitment to calling all people of Fiji, ‘Fijians’ with ‘Taukei’ being the name reserved for indigenous Fijians. Sharda Nand iske suport karis rahaa. [2]
