Dr. Ganeshwar Chand,, jiske jaada kar ke Ganesh Chand ke naam se jaana jaawe hae, Fiji ke ek Hindustani sikchhak aur pahile ke ek politician hae. Uske haanth University of Fiji ke suruu kare me rahaa aur abhi uu Fiji Institute of Applied Studieske trustee hae aur Fijian Studies: A Journal of Contemporary Fiji ke sapaadak hae(source Archived 2011-07-20 at the Wayback Machine).

1999 se 2006 talak, Fiji ke House of Representatives me Lautoka City Indian Communal Constituency ke Fiji Labour Party (FLP) ke taraf se represent karis. Uu 1999 aur 2001 e lection jtis rahaa. 1999 se 2000 talak uu Mahendra Chaudhry ke sarkar me Minister for Local Government, State Planning, and Housing rahaa.

19 May 2000 me uu People's Coalition Government sarkar ke 43 member me se ek rahaa jiske George Speight hostage banae diis rahaa aur 56 din ke baad 13 July 2000 ke uske chhoraa gais rahaa.^[1]

25 September 2007 ke Dr Chand ke Fiji Institute of Technology (FIT) ke director banawa gais.^[2]

1 January 2010 ke uu Fiji National University ke Vice Chancellor banaa.
