Ahmed Bhamji ek Fiji ke Hindustani businessman aur National Federation Party politician rahaa, jiske Ba ke mayor chuna gais rahaa jab uu khaali 37 saal ke rahaa aur Fiji ke sab se jawaan mayor banaa. Uu 1982, 1983 aur 1986 me Ba ke mayor rahaa.

1987 ke general election me uu North Eastern National Constituency khatir National Federation Party - Fiji Labour Party coalition ke taraf se kharraa hoe ke Alliance Party ke candidate ke 12,786 votes to 9,946 votes se harae diis.[1]

Iske baad uu Bavadra ke sarkar me Minister for Communications, Transport and Works banaa.[2]

14 May 1987 me uu Bavadra sarkar ke 28 memeber me se ek rahaa jiske Rabuka hostage le liis rahaa.

Abhi uu New Zealand me rahe hae.
