1941 me jab ek kisan ke union, Maha Sangh bana, tab Reddy ke pitaji uske pahila Secretary banaa aur uske maut ke baad Reddy ke Secretary banawa gais. 1953 me Governor uske Legislative Council me nominate karis aur iske kaaran uske aur Maha Sangh ke leader ke biich me Sangh ke leadership ke khatir tension barrha. Duuno ke biich me tension etna barrhaa ki 1956 me Reddy, Police ke balae ke non-financial member log keek meeting se nikalwais aur 1960 ke cane contract ke negotiation ke time Maha Sangh ke dui faction rahaa.

Baad me uu Allaince Party ke join kar liis aur 1966 ke election me uu Western Indian Cros-voting constituency se jiitis aur uske Executive Council ke member aur Assistant Minister f Education banawa gais. Ajaadi ke baad uske Viti Levu ke east me ek safe seat dewa gais aur uu 1982 talak House of Representatives ke member rahaa.
