Gyaan (Knowledge), uu chij kae jon ke sachchaa hae. Ii bichaar (opinion) nai hae. Jaankari (information), jon sachchaa hae, gyaan hae. Gyaan ke sabuut (evidence) se samarthan (support) karaa jaae hae. Agar koi wachan (statement) ke sabuut se nai samarthan karaa jaae hae, tab uu gyaan nai hae.

Gyaan ek chij ke sanjhe ke theoretical, nai to practical yogtaa hoe sake hae. Jaise ki Ryle batais hae, antar hae "knowing that" aur "knowing how" ke biich me.[1]

Philosophy me gyaan ke adyan ke epistemology bola jaae hae.
