Pradeep Singh

Labasa's current Mayor, elected on 28 October 2005 following the municipal election to the Town Council one week earlier, is Dr Pradeep Singh (born:21 July 1957 at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva ) of the Fiji Labour Party (FLP). Singh, a graduate from Khalsa College, Chandigarh, did his MBBS from Ranchi Medical College in Bihar and then settled in Labasa in 1986.
