Mathematical proof se mathematical theorem ke sahii dekhaawa jaae hae. Theorem ke poove kare ke khaatir ii dekhaae ke parre hae ki ii sab time sahii hae. Iske khaatir axioms, nai to pahile sahii maana gais theorem ke kaam me aawa jaae hae. Ek statement ke proove kare ke khaatir, "proof by induction", proof by contraction" aur proof by cases" ke kaam me laawa jaae hae.[1]
Puraana Greece ke mathematicians sab se pahile mathematical proof suruu kare rahin. Thales (624-546BCE) aur Hippocrates (470-410BCE) geometry ke sab se pahila proof diye rahin. Euclid (300BCE), mathematical proof me bahut badlao laais jab uu "axiomatic method" ke suruu karis.
