Jamshedji Nusserwanji Tata (3 March 1839 – 19 May 1904), India ke ek pahila industrialist rahaa, jon ki India ke sab se barraa company, Tata Group ke suruu karis rahaa. Uske ii century ke daan de waala me se sab se barraa maana jaae hae, aur Jamshedpur City ke banais rahaa. Uske "Father of Indian Industry" maana jaae hae.[1]
Tata Navsari me ek Zoroastrian Farsi palwaar me paida bhais rahaa. Uske palwaar Persia se, religious prosecution ke kaaran, bhaag ke India aae rahin. Ek pandit waala palwaar me rahe ke baawajuut uu Mumbai me ek export trading company ke suruuu karis rahaa. Tata ke Western parrhai mila rahaa.
Tata ek trading company ke 1868 me suruu karis rahaa, aur baad me ek cotton mill banais. Uu India ke pahila hotel, jisme electricity supply rahaa ke banais rahaa aur dher yogdaan Indian Institute of Science, Tata Steel aur tata Power ke banae me rahaa. [2]
