[badlo | source ke badlo]a Laisenia Bale Tuitubou replaced Jiko Luveni after he became Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Aftermath
[badlo | source ke badlo]The election was endorsed as "credible" by international observers. Some shortcomings were noted, such as a restrictive media framework which limited Fijan journalists ability to "examine rigorously the claims of candidates and parties.", a short timeframe for the election and a complex voting system.
