Anup Kumar, Fiji ke ek Hindustani politician rahaa, jon ki 1999 ke election me Fiji Labour Party ke ticket pe Vanua Levu West Indian Communal Constituency ke jiit ke Fiji ke House of Representatives ke member banaa. Iske baad uu Mahendra Chaudhry ke Peoples Coalition Government me Minister for Commerce, Business Development & Investment banaa.[1]

19 May 2000 me, Kumar uu People's Coalition Government ke 43 membe me se ek rahaa, jiske George Speight aur uske rebel Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) ke soldiers ke saathi hostage le liis rahaa. Uske 12 July 2000 ke chhorra gais rahaa. [2]
