Usage

The template "Year nav range" displays a 20-year range (rather than 6-year) as a navigation box to select year articles

Format:   {{Year nav range|year#}}

The parameter year# can be year 101 or higher (it defaults to "888" for display).
To handle years BCE (or BC), use "Template:Year nav BC" to display those years.

The box width shrinks nearly 6% for smaller year-number sizes.
