Mali Empire, 1226 se 1670 talak, west Africa me ek empire rahaa. Ii empire ke Sundiata Keita (1214 - 1255) suruu karis rahaa aur ii empire ke iske wealth ke khaatir jaana jaae hae. Jab ii sab se barraa rahaa tab ii west Africa ke sab se barraa empire rahaa aur ii ilaaka ke sanskriti me iske bhasa, niyam aur sankriti se bhaari asar rahaa.[3]

Ii empire ek chhota kingdom se suruu bhais rahaa, Niger Naddi ke source ke nasdik. 11th aur 12th century me ii Ghana Empire ke naam se barraa bhais rahaa, lekin ii kamjor parr gais jab jaada trade south ke bagal chal diis.[4]
