Isaac Bashevis Singer (11 November 1903[1][2][3] – 24 July 1991) ek Poland me paida bhais ek Jewish American novelist, short-story writer, memoirist, essayist, aur translator rahaa. Uske kuchh kaam ke theater ke khaatir adapt karaa gais rahaa. Uu pahile Yiddish me likhis aur publish karis rahaa aur baad me aapan kaam ke apne English me translate karis rahaa editors aur collaborators ke madat se.[4][5] Uske Nobel Prize in Literature 1978 me dewa gais rahaa.Uu Yiddish literary movement ke ek khaas jan rahaa, aur uske dui U.S. National Book Awards, one in Children's Literature uske memoir A Day of Pleasure: Stories of a Boy Growing Up in Warsaw (1970) and one in Fiction for his collection A Crown of Feathers and Other Stories (1974) ke khaatir dewa gais rahaa.
