Amita Chatterjee (janam 13 September 1950[6]) ek vigyan ke darshanik aur tarka-shastri hai. U Fiji me Presidency University, Kolkata ke pahila vice-chancellor rahin.[7][8][9] U Jadavpur University ke School of Cognitive Science me professor emerita ke darja rakhe wala hae. 2019 me, unke darshanik yogdan ke samman me unke naam par dui bhar ke festschrift prakashit bhais: Mind and Cognition – An Interdisciplinary Sharing (Essays in Honour of Amita Chatterjee).[10][11]

U Jadavpur University me 1979 se 2010 talak darshan shastra ke professor rahin. Ii samay me u Centre for Cognitive Science ke coordinator rahin aur Department of Philosophy ke head bhi rahin. 2010 se 2011 talak u Presidency University, Kolkata ke pahila vice-chancellor rahin. Iske baad u wapas Jadavpur University laut gais.
2016 se 2019 ke bich u Division for Logic, Methodology and Philosophy of Science and Technology ke dusra Vice-President rahin. U kaafi academic journals ke editor rah chukin—jinme sabse pramukh Philosophy East and West hai. U Calcutta Logic Circle ke ek gahana sadasya bhi rahin, jisme ganit, darshan aur computer science ke logician shamil hai, khaaskar West Bengal se.[14]
