Wikipedia se

Wikipedia ke official policies aur guidelines ke sanchhipt me paanch pillars ke naam se jaana jaae hai:

Wikipedia ek encyclopedia hai jisme sadharan encyclopedia, khaas encyclopedia, aur har saal ke jankari hae. Sab panna me koi aapan karaa gais khoj nai rahe ke chaahi, aur thik hoe ke chaahi: unreferenced chij ke hatae dewa jaai, tab ii katir, references ke de kae chaahi. Wikipedia uu jagha nai hae jahan pe aapan bichar, tajurba, aur bahas kare ke chaahi. Wikipedia uu jagah nai hae jahan pe koi rakam ke jaankari idhar udhar likha jaawe hae. Wikipedia ek soapbox, advertising platform, a vanity press, ek experiment kare waala jagha, nai to ek web directory nai hae. Ii ek newspaper nai hae aur ek pimary ource ke colection bhi nai hae aur ii rakam ke chij ke wikipedia me nai likhna.

Wikipedia koi bichar me side nai lewe hai, iske matlab ii hae ki ham log aisan article banae k kosis karega jisme khaali ek bichar ke promote nai karaa jaawe hae. Kabhi kabhi iske kaaran, dher akam ke bichar ke de ke chaahi, har ek bichar ke thik se likh ke chaahi, aur koi ek bichar ke "sach" nai to "sab se achchhaa bichar nai maane ke chaahi. Iske matlab ii bhi hae ki jab hoe sake tab references ke cite kae ke chaahi, khaas kar ke jab ii koi controversial topic pe rahe hae. It means citing verifiable, authoritative sources whenever possible, especially on controversial topics. When a conflict arises regarding neutrality, declare a cool-down period and tag the article as disputed, hammer out details on the talk page, and follow dispute resolution.

Wikipedia is free content that anyone may edit. All text is available under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) and may be distributed or linked accordingly. Wikipedia has a code of conduct: Respect your fellow Wikipedians even when you may not agree with them. Be civil. Avoid conflicts of interest, personal attacks or sweeping generalizations. Find consensus, avoid edit wars, follow the three-revert rule, and remember that there are 10,890 articles on the English Wikipedia to work on and discuss. Act in good faith, never disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point, and assume good faith on the part of others. Be open and welcoming.

Wikipedia does not have firm rules besides the five general principles presented here. Be bold in editing, moving, and modifying articles. Although it should be aimed for, perfection is not required. Do not worry about making mistakes. All prior versions of articles are kept, so there is no way that you can accidentally damage Wikipedia or irretrievably destroy content. Remember, whatever you write here will be preserved for posterity.
