Syed's Haroon Ali Shah was born on 10 Oct 1972 to a Sadaat family, in the village of Taru Jabba in Nowshera. His father, Syed Muhammad Ali Shah, was an Islamic scholar of the Hanafi branch and a Sufism.

He was served the Senior Drying Master of G,H,S,S tarnab farm Peshawar from 1998 to 2024.

His early education was from Govt High school Taru Jabba Nowshera, and He attained a Bachelor's degree (B.A) from Allama Iqbal Open University and completed his master's degree at Allama Iqbal Open University. During his early religious training and education (Ilm Us Saraf, Ilm Un Nahv,) he remained the disciple of Allama Aminulhaq Jan Ustaz and Maulana Kabul Ustaz of Afghanistan Lund before studying Dura-e-Tafseer and other Islamic books with Allama Sibghatullah of Peshawar in a Madrassa at Phandu Raod. He was a student of Mufti Owais Qadri, during his Shahadat-ul Alamia at Jamia Junaidia Ghafooria Hayat Abad Peshawar.

On 15 Safar al-Muzaffar 1446 AH corresponding to August 19, 2024, when he died while listening to Surah-e-Yasin in the hospital while fasting. On August 19, 2024, his son Maulavi Inayatullah Harooni led his funeral prayer. His burial took place in the famous tomb of Akhoon Baba(RH) Taru jabba.
